Divine Grace Parish will host its annual Family Festival August 11th – 13th, 2023 at the St. Ferdinand Church location in Cranberry Township, PA.  This fun-filled, 3-day community event is open to the public and offers a variety of activities and opportunities for people of all ages.

The St. Ferdinand Church property has hosted this event for more than 60 years and it has grown to welcome anywhere from 15,000 – 20,000 people throughout the festival weekend.  Now, under the umbrella of the combined Divine Grace Parish grouping of churches, this year’s event is expected to be one of the largest festivals to date.

Families and festival goers can expect to engage in a wide range of activities including carnival and skill games with prizes, food booths, raffle baskets, bingo, nightly meals and entertainment, a large white elephant sale, and a special Kiddieland area of fun and train rides for the youngest visitors.  Also available will be ticket purchases for the highly anticipated $15,000 cash raffle!

The expected music entertainment schedule for the weekend includes the following bands:

Friday, 8/11 at 7:00 pm – This, That and The Other Thing
Saturday, 8/12 at 7:00 pm – Funky Uncles
Sunday, 8/13 at 6:00 pm – Spin Cycle

Dance troupes are also expected as opening entertainment each night.

For those looking to indulge in the many food offerings, nightly dinners will be served in the main hall and will include an Italian pasta dinner (Friday), the widely-popular chicken BBQ (Saturday), and a delicious stuffed pork chop meal (Sunday).  For more casual, on-the-go fare, food booth stations with be serving everything from funnel cakes, to walking tacos, french fries, pizza, pretzels, cotton candy, kettle corn and more.

Perhaps one of the most popular and unique attractions of the Divine Grace Parish Festival is the White Elephant Sale.  This impressive collection of gently-used and donated items offers 20,000 square feet of treasures spanning the space of three large event tents.  Find bikes, furniture, tools, books, decorations, sports equipment, kitchen appliances, baby items, children’s toys, puzzles, games and much more at incredible prices.

With much appreciation to the sponsors and volunteers that make this event a success, all are invited to come and experience this time of community fun and fellowship in the welcoming atmosphere that Divine Grace Parish provides.  As the most significant annual fundraising event for the Parish, proceeds from this festival go towards supporting the mission of the church and its community outreach programs.

The hours of the festival will be Friday and Saturday, 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm and Sunday, 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm.
