Divine Grace Parish Family Festival

A 3-day Community Event in Cranberry Twp, PA

Divine Grace Parish will host its annual Family Festival August 9th – 11th, 2024 at its St. Ferdinand Church location in Cranberry Township, PA.  This fun-filled, 3-day community event is open to the public and offers a variety of activities and opportunities for people of all ages.

The St. Ferdinand Church property has hosted this festival for more than 60 years and it is known to welcome anywhere from 15,000 – 20,000 people throughout the weekend.  Coming off of the success of last year’s event that brought in record-breaking crowds, the parish looks forward to hosting an even bigger event this year.

Families and festival goers can expect to engage in a wide range of activities including carnival and skill games with prizes, a dunk tank, food booths, raffle baskets, 50/50 drawings, bingo, nightly meals and entertainment, a large white elephant sale, and a special Kiddieland area with bounce houses, character experiences, and train rides.  Also available will be ticket purchases for the $15,000 cash raffle!

The expected music entertainment schedule for the weekend includes the following bands:
Friday, 8/11 at 7:00 pm –This, That and The Other Thing
Saturday, 8/12 at 7:00 pm – Funky Uncles
Sunday, 8/13 at 6:00 pm – Spin Cycle

A singing duo, a local dance troupe, and a steel drum band are also expected throughout the weekend.

For those looking to indulge in the many food offerings, nightly dinners will be served in the main hall and will include an Italian pasta dinner (Friday), the popular chicken BBQ (Saturday), and a delicious stuffed pork chop meal (Sunday).  For more casual, on-the-go fare, food booth stations will be serving funnel cakes, walking tacos, french fries, pizza, pretzels, penny candy, kettle corn, and more.

Perhaps one of the most anticipated and unique attractions of the Divine Grace Parish Festival is the White Elephant Sale.  Shoppers historically will line up hours before opening to get early access to this impressive collection of gently-used and donated items.  With treasures covering 20,000 square feet of space under three large event tents, bargain hunters can find bikes, furniture, tools, books, decorations, sports equipment, kitchen appliances, baby items, children’s toys, puzzles, games, and much more at incredible prices.

All are invited to come and experience this time of community fun and fellowship in the welcoming atmosphere that Divine Grace Parish provides.  Proceeds from this festival go towards supporting the mission of the parish, its 75+ ministries, and other impactful community outreach programs.

The hours of the festival will be Friday and Saturday, 5:00 pm – 10:00 pm and Sunday, 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm.  The dining hall and White Elephant Sale open one hour earlier.
